The stitching in many of the clothes is not of good quality and the stitches will break after a few months of use, due to friction and other factors
The clothes which are used at home, like nighties are more likely to require stitching again.
Usually only small portions of the clothes have to be restitched, so stitching using a machine is more tedious
It is better to stitch the clothes manually using a needle and thread
However manual stitching is likely to be more time consuming than machine stitching.
